Completed NASA's Open Science course
I've completed NASA's course on Open Science, Open Data and Open Code — one of the most engaging learning experiences I've had. It's extensive, and staying consistent isn't easy, but that's what makes it valuable.
- Version control (Git) for tracking and collaborating on code
- GitHub for open-source and research code sharing
- Reproducible code with Jupyter Notebooks and RStudio
- Managing dependencies, documentation and reusable code
Data + code + documentation together make work reproducible — that's the bridge between research and development.
